Our Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Coconut Butter has a distinctive coconut aroma. Unlike Fractionated Coconut Oil, Coconut Butter it is often solid in cool temperatures, but easily melts to an oil in the warmth of your hands.
Unrefined Coconut Butter is great for moisturising and protecting the skin. It is rich in essential fatty acids, including Lauric acid which is known for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, skin nourishing, and wound healing properties. It also contains Vitamin E which helps promote skin elasticity and fights free radical damage to maintain a more youthful complexion.
It is suitable for all skin types but is especially beneficial for dry, flaky skin, and skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis. It is rich, sensuous and luxurious and it has a high level of slippage which makes it ideal for massaging over hairy skin.
Coconut Butter is also rich in essential proteins that help promote healthy hair and scalp. It helps to nourish, repair and condition dull, damaged hair and can be beneficial for dandruff when massaged in to the scalp.
If you would prefer a lighter, liquid version of Coconut Oil then please try our Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Oil Pulling
Oil pulling is an ancient Ayurvedic ritual that is thought to improve oral health and general wellbeing. It is said to remove bacteria, help prevent tooth decay, promote healthier gums, whiten teeth and freshen the breath.
Use approx 1 tbsp of melted Coconut oil and swish it around your mouth for 20 minutes each morning (or at least 4 times a week) on an empty stomach. Do not gargle with it, or swallow. Once finished, spit the oil out, rinse your mouth and clean your teeth as normal to remove any lingering oil, bacteria or debris.
