Organic Carrier Oils
Our organic carrier oils come from plants grown on certified land in accordance with organic farming practices. Achieving certification is a complicated and costly process, but many therapists believe that the resulting oils are of a superior quality to conventionally produced oils – which justifies their higher price. Although it is not scientifically proven that they are always more bioactive than conventional carrier oils, they offer valuable therapeutic properties and an abundance of nutrients, vitamins and minerals that are beneficial for skincare and a variety of physical ailments – whilst also being kinder for the planet. They are therefore a popular choice with aromatherapists and natural health practitioners who are interested in creating eco-friendly, organic skincare products and massage blends.
All of our organic carrier oils come from suppliers that are Certified Organic by either The Soil Association or other regulatory bodies such as Agrobio, ECOCERT, Nature et Progrès or Qualité-France SA. Please note that these oils are natural products and may vary in colour from batch to batch. Oils are supplied in 100ml Aluminium bottles, but we can quote for larger sizes on request.
