Origin:	Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the Eucalyptus tree - a tall, attractive, evergreen tree with pointed, bluey-green leaves that are extremely aromatic. The therapeutic properties of the plant have been utilised for thousands of years by ancient communities, including the Australian Aborigines.
Skin:	Eucalyptus has excellent antimicrobial properties. It can be useful for treating acne, ulcers, wounds and measles. It can also be used as an insect repellent and for treating bites and stings.
Mind:	Eucalyptus globulous has a stimulant effect and is good for fatigue, lethargy, and feelings of heaviness in the mind.
Body:	Eucalyptus globulus essential oil has strong antiviral properties. It is a popular aromatherapy oil for winter time, and is particularly beneficial for coughs, colds and flu. Also useful for headaches, neuralgia, and for muscle and joint pain.
Blends well with:	Lavender, Rosemary and Lemon
Safety Note:	Do not use on children aged 3 and under. Avoid during pregnancy. Eucalyptus essential oil is not recommended for people with delicate systems - try Eucalyptus smithii for a milder variety.

Nervous fatigue / debility

Try a massage blend with 20ml Sweet Almond Oil, 10ml St John's Wort, 2 drops Neroli essential oil, 2 drops Lemon, 2 drops Eucalyptus and 6 drops Lavender.

Muscular aches & pains

Massage with 20ml Sweet Almond Oil, 10ml St John's Wort, 2 drops Black Pepper essential oil, 2 drops Eucalyptus, 6 Lavender and 4 Rosemary.

Arthritic joint pain (with heat)

Mix 30ml Aloe Vera & Seaweed Gel with 2 drops German Chamomile, 2 drops Eucalyptus, 1 drop Peppermint and 10 drops Lavender. Mix well and apply regularly.

Coughs, colds, sinus infection

Do regular steam inhalations with 2 drops Eucalyptus, 2 drops Thyme, 4 Pine and 4 Sandalwood.
