Fir Needle essential oil is steam distilled from the needles of the Fir tree which are common in large areas of Russia and Siberia. Fir Needle oil is mainly used for respiratory complaints and as a disinfectant.

Winter Warming Massage Oil

To boost circulation and ease aches and pains blend 15ml base oil with 1 drop Fir Needle essential oil, 2 Cinnamon and 3 Tangerine. Massage into the body in an upwards direction towards the heart. Can be used all over the body or just on particular sore spots.

Fatigue Busting Diffuser Blend

In the morning, try diffusing 3 drops Fir Needle, 2 Cedarwood and 2 Lemon in an aromatherapy burner or diffuser to kick start your day!

Respiratory Rescue Inhalation

For easier breathing and to improve immunity add 3 drops each of Fir Needle, Lavender and Eucalyptus to a bowl of steaming hot water. Lean over the bowl with a towel over your head and breathe in the vapours for up to 10 minutes.

Christmas Tree Fragrance

If you have a synthetic tree, but still want to enjoy that fresh therapeutic scent of real Fir, pop 4 drops each of Fir Needle, Cedarwood and Frankincense essential oil onto 3 cotton wool balls. Put them in a small jar and place out of sight near the base of your tree for a wonderful Christmas aroma.
