Chamomile & Calendula Shampoo Soap Bar (100g)

This mild and gentle shampoo bar contains nourishing plant oils and natural butters infused with calming extracts of Calendula and Chamomile along with Lemon, Grapefruit and Chamomile essential oil. It is suitable for general use, but is particularly helpful for sensitive scalps and those with fine, fair or colour-treated hair. 

Calendula is excellent for soothing and hydrating the scalp, encouraging growth and promoting strong, shiny, healthy hair. It is also thought to enhance naturally warm highlights in lighter hair.

Chamomile also promotes soft and shiny hair. It’s calming, anti-inflammatory properties are ideal for soothing an itchy, dry scalp and dandruff, and with regular use it is also thought to lighten and brighten the hair.

Lemon and Grapefruit essential oil stimulate circulation in the scalp, bringing increased blood and nutrients to the hair follicles. Their cleansing, antiseptic properties are great for removing dirt, oil and preventing dandruff and they are also said to brighten hair and enhance natural highlights.

How to use:

1. Wet hair thoroughly.
2. Rub the shampoo bar directly onto hair, working from the scalp down to the ends.
3. Massage in until a lather forms – you may need to add a little more water.
4. Rinse well and repeat.
5. Depending on your hair type you may or may not need to use a little conditioner on the ends.

Please note that your hair may take a little time to adjust to the new product. If you live in an area with hard water you may find the soap reacts with minerals in the water and leaves a slight residue on your hair. A final rinse with vinegar or lemon (2 tbsps in a jug of water) can help with this.
