Cornmint has soothing, cooling, pain relieving properties and a cephalic, stimulating effect that helps to clear the mind and increase alertness. It can also help with nausea.
French Lavender has analgesic, sedative properties that work synergistically with Cornmint and the other oils to soothe stress, tension and pain.
Sweet Basil is an excellent cephalic and nerve tonic that soothes tension, clears the head and relieves fatigue.
Rosemary is the most cephalic of oils. It is excellent for headaches, stress, muscular pain, and improving mental alertness.

How to use our Head Ease Pure Essential Oil blend
Massage: Dilute up to 4 drops per 10ml of carrier oil or Aloe Vera Gel and massage a little into the temples, forehead and back of neck.
Hot or cold compress: Add 4-5 drops of oil to a bowl of hot or cold water then place a clean cloth in the water so that it can absorb the oil. Wring out excess water and place on the forehead and/or back of neck. You can repeat the process once the compress reaches skin temperature.
A warm compress would be used where restricted blood vessels are causing the issue. This helps to dilate the blood vessels and encourage blood flow which can help to relieve tension and pain.
A cold compress is used for over dilated blood vessels. This helps the blood vessels to contract which can help to reduce inflammation and pain. Dilated blood vessels are a common trigger for migraine pain.
Inhalation: Add a few drops of oil into an aromatherapy inhaler, or onto a tissue and sniff as required. You can also sniff directly from the bottle top. Take care not to get the oil on your nose.
Safety advice: Spot test first on sensitive skin. Do not use during pregnancy, or if epileptic. Avoid with children under 7.
